Notes

There was a big change at the end of 1981, with Acle, Aldborough, Brooke, Diss, Earlham Lodge, Fakenham, Gothic, Horsford, Norwich Brewery, Old Buckenham and St Barnabas all leaving to join the expanded Alliance. Nine new clubs joined to maintain 6 divisions.

Ivan Andrews (Happisburgh) became first to reach 1000 runs in a season.
