Notes

The first - recorded - offical league with matches taking place on Saturdays and Sundays. Brooke clinched the title by a narrow margin and still hold the dubious record of the lowest points score to win a Championship.

Notice the familiar names - Halvergate, Loddon and Watton have remained in the NCL throughout; Beccles re-appeared for a single season, whilst Aldborough returned from the Alliance. Overstrand played only 2 seasons before leaving - to return with a vengeance 20 years later. Earlham Lodge are now merged with Cringleford, Coltishall with Hellesdon, Gothic with CEYMS whilst Nor Etceteras are now part of Old Catton
