Bottom of the 'food chain'
A number of things will affect the way the League will look in
2008.
As part of a feeder structure (with the WCL) into the Norfolk Alliance,
we expect our Div 1 champions to be promoted. In return we expect
teams to be relegated from the NA. These teams will either be:
- one from each of the feeder Leagues (NCL & WNCL)
- two from one feeder, none from the other

So, our own promotion and relegation will depend on who comes down
from the Alliance, and will also be affected by the EAPL Factor
(see below).
Because we are the bottom of the feeder pyramid, it will always
be the case that our final standings cannot be known until the higher
Leagues have completed their re-shuffles.
The current NA Div 3 is shown left.

EAPL Factor
Final decisions on promotion and relegation in the KNCL may not
be determined until well after the end of the normal season. This
is because our final positions may be affected by what happens with
the East Anglian Premier League, which stands at the top of the
'food chain'.
There are currently six Norfolk teams (shaded in green) in the
EAPL and so there is a possibility that one of these will finish
in 10th place and be replaced in the EAPL by a non-Norfolk team
as a result of the play-offs. These will not be decided until mid-September.
