New Sponsor

The Norfolk Cricket League is pleased to announce a new sponsor for the competition from the beginning of the 2008 season:

Lucas Fettes & Partners are one of the UK's top five independently owned Accredited Lloyd's Brokers and Independent Financial Advisers offering a comprehensive range of services to individuals and businesses. Lucas Fettes & Partners have had an office in Norwich since 1998.
"We are delighted that Lucas Fettes & Partners has agreed to sponsor the Norfolk Cricket League" said Keir Hounsome, the League Chairman. "Our league competition comprises of ten divisions of ten teams thereby making it the biggest cricket league in Norfolk with well over 1000 players involved every week of the summer. It is our hope that the profile and standing of the Norfolk Cricket League will be raised through our association with the nationally recognised Lucas Fettes & Partners, and we look forward to a long and mutually rewarding relationship with them", he continued.
Graham Clark, Business Development Director at Lucas Fettes & Partners (pictured above, right, with Keir Hounsome) comments: "Lucas Fettes are delighted to have been appointed as new sponsors of the Norfolk Cricket League and judging by the discussions of our employees who are already involved with the league there is a lot of passion and commitment generated by all concerned and we are looking forward to being a part of this".
The official title of the league will be the 'Lucas Fettes Norfolk Cricket League'.

Copies of the revised 2008 Fixtures were posted yesterday. The revised fixtures can also be found on the links above and a PDF version is also available. Please note that Divisions 4, 7 and 10 are at version 3.
The latest edition of 'Cricket Bag' has been posted to clubs and can also be accessed above.
